CNC Operators

Summary:

  • Job Type: Full-time, 2nd Shift
  • Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 40 per week

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship a plus

Class A Machinist

Summary:

 

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: Up to $34/hr

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate to exacting tolerances, milling machines, vertical boring mills, and radial drills from prints, sketches and/or verbal instructions
  • Troubleshoot problems and promote a team environment
  • Ability to write CNC Programs
  • Continuously researching and improving new tooling, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to design fixtures and quality plans
  • Provide cross training to team

 

Qualifications:

  • Mastery Machinist Class A capabilities
  • Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)
  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
  • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Strong math and analytical capabilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship a plus
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
  • Additional duties as assigned including but not limited to special assignments to meet customer demand

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary function of the Facility Machine Maintenance Technician is to work one-on-one with employees to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance on the facility and equipment. The work is to be completed in a safe and efficient method to ensure minimal production downtime and adherence to environmental and safety guidelines.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Diagnose root cause of issues and complete repairs on a variety of production and facility equipment.
  • Daily Machine Maintenance including cleaning, refreshing chip barrels and maintaining coolant levels
  • Install and set up new and used manufacturing and facility equipment
  • Prioritize and perform multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Use various facility equipment and tools when necessary.
  • Property Maintenance
    -> Painting
    -> Mowing/Snow Removal
    -> Building Repairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude to repair equipment & machines in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Must consistently demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
  • Strong ability to plan current workload as well as upcoming projects.
  • Effective collaboration through communication, teamwork, and a positive outlook.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Desire to continuously learn and be challenged.
  • Some computer skills are helpful.
